Badda Boom Brass Band is a Denver-based, 10-piece ensemble celebrating the traditions of New Orleans brass bands while bringing their own high-energy voice to the stage. Blending influences from groups like Hot 8 Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, and Lucky Chops, Badda Boom delivers a dynamic sound that fuses hip-hop, funk, pop, and classic brass band repertoire into something uniquely their own.
Alongside its horns and rhythm section, the band includes a vocalist/rapper who adds a fresh, contemporary voice to the overall sound. Known for their genre-blending arrangements, playful mash-ups, and infectious stage presence, Badda Boom creates performances that are as interactive as they are musically compelling—inviting audiences to move, sing, and fully join the celebration.
A familiar presence on the Colorado festival circuit, Badda Boom Brass Band has performed multiple times at City Park Jazz and FoCoMX, as well as at Meow Wolf Santa Fe, the Green Box Arts Festival, and countless breweries, clubs, dive bars, weddings, and backyard parties across Colorado. The band is also proud to be an active part of Colorado’s thriving brass band community, regularly collaborating with fellow musicians through events like Brass Hysteria and supporting a spirit of camaraderie and shared musical growth.
Whether on stage or in the streets, Badda Boom Brass Band brings people together through rhythm, joy, and connection.
There ain’t no party like a Badda Boom party.
